Glossary

This glossary defines common terms that you might see as you're working in Feishu, or throughout our Help Center.

A

Account

In uTaxes, an account is used to manage all information related to a specific client, including documents, invoices, and communication records. Each account acts as a centralized client profile for easy tracking and management.

Administrator

A person who is assigned to manage a part of the Feishu Admin Console for their organization. Unlike primary administrators, administrators are only able to access certain features.

Billing

A feature in uTaxes that allows you to create and manage invoices, track payments, and automate billing workflows.

Billing Cycle

A billing cycle is a period of time during which you are billed for your subscription. For example, if you have a monthly subscription, your billing cycle is every month.

C

Chats

A secure way to communicate with clients in uTaxes. Chats can be linked to specific jobs, automated in pipelines, or created as standalone conversations. Threads are organized within each client profile and may include tasks and attached documents.

CRM (Client Relationship Management)

The integrated system in uTaxes for managing client information, communications, and interactions in one place.

Dashboard

Dashboard allows you to visualize the data in the base through a variety of charts, graphs, and other elements.

Field

A table column is called a field in Base. There are different types of fields that determine what type of data can be added to that column.

Folders

uTaxes organizes client files into folders, enabling you to structure and manage documents logically, such as “Invoices,” “Tax Returns,” and “Signed Documents.”

Notifications

Alerts sent to clients or team members about pending tasks, updates, or deadlines. Notifications can be customized and automated.

R

Record

A table row is called a record in Base. Each row represents an individual item that you want to keep track of, such as project milestones, tasks, or any other relevant information.

T

Tasks

Tasks in uTaxes are used to assign and track specific work items. They can be created for team members or clients, include deadlines, and help monitor progress to ensure projects run smoothly.

Time Tracking

A feature for monitoring the time spent on specific jobs or tasks to calculate billable hours or evaluate team productivity.
